Children’s Choir & Tone Chimes Choir Registration
 

Join us on Wednesdays as Children’s Choirs kick off a new year!   No experience necessary.
 

All of the children’s choirs learn the fundamentals of beautiful singing, basic musicianship, and how to worship God by offering their gifts and talents.  They make friends and build relationships with adult leaders that enrich their spiritual growth in God’s church.  We have choirs for all ages.
 

Cherub Preschool Choir

Wednesdays, 4:30 p.m. – 4:55 p.m., Children’s Choir & Preschool Music Room.  Open to preschoolers ages 3 (by Sept. 1) through 4 years old.  Children are introduced to using their “singing voice”, playing rhythm instruments, and what it means to be a choir.  The children learn that through music, even the youngest of God’s children can participate in worship.
 

Celebration Choir

Wednesdays, 5:00 - 5:45 p.m., Preschool Music Room.  Open to elementary aged children, Kindergarten through 1st grade.  Children build on their musical knowledge learned in Cherub Choir while connecting with friends. They continue learning about their singing voice and what it means to sing together as a choir. Special events include worship services, the Family Christmas Concert, leading the Family Christmas Eve services and the end of year musical.

 

Carol Choir

Wednesdays, 5:00 - 5:45 p.m., Children's Choir & Wesley Room. Open to elementary aged children 2nd through 3rd grade. Members build on their musical knowledge learned in Cherub Choir while also beginning to learn how to read music.   They also begin preparing for leadership in worship services.   Special events for the year include worship services, Christmas Eve services, community outreach and the end of year musical.

 

The Choristers

Wednesdays, 5:00 - 5:45 p.m., Children's Choir & Wesley Rooms. Open to elementary aged children 4th through 5th grade. Members continue to develop their vocal and musical skills.  Members begin singing in parts, expand their knowledge of musical notation, and begin preparing for leadership in worship services.  Special events for the year include worship services, Christmas Eve services, community outreach and the end of year musical.

Children’s Tone Chime Choir

Wednesday s, 4:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Room 102.  Open to 3rd – 5th graders.  This beginning choir uses tone chimes, which are similar to handbells. Music experience is helpful, but not required. Performances are at various services throughout the year.
